All the good information is clouded by the obnoxious presentation…
Bruh, im just trying to find the overhead lights in the dark.
I want to love this plane but omg the view is so bad, especially in VR. If I'm not clipping into the ceiling, I can't see anything. Thing might as well, not even have windows :p
I think the FAA letter is in the post Mr Gatcomb, after you managed to unscrew the ATC's head...🤣😂
I cannot believe I've discovered your channel so late, genuinely the best I've found for flight simulation. You explain everything so well, if you're not already a teacher/instructor you should definitely consider becoming one!
This video is incoherent, as a 1000+ hour ifr pilot watching a video to kill time i left it totally confused. He talks too fast and doesnt finish one procedure before starting another.
Does the vulcan in this game have that loud echoing sound
For some reason the G3X is not showing up in my NXCub.
I have the new G3X touch in the XCub but not in the NXCub. Any idea why? Suggestions? Thank you.
I see you're on to other things now, and that's good you're still posting helpful videos. I'm giving your CMANO videos a vigorous workout, and even though it's been a piece I want to thank you for them.
Can you please tell me if you can setup a visual approach to a specific runway within the GTN750? I know you can with the G1000. Thanks for your input!
Thanks! Your videos are as always very informative and helpful!
Thanks ❤
How can i move the plane view from the middel of the screns , on 2 monitors setup , external view , i can't even see the runway when i land , please help.
This is such a great tutorial, thank you!
So many hate comments 💀💀
Idk what homie is on but I want some. These videos were dope
Thanks for the intro.
South of Tallahassee, KTLH, there us a waypoint HEVVN. You can get assigned direct to heaven.
Great video. In the 80's I flew a Cessna 182RG with this type of RNAV. We had two radios and I used the system on all my long flights. This was long before GPS. I even had Jeppesen Rnav enroute charts with lines on north east south and west with distance marks for each ten miles. I think the radios may have been the KNS80. It was awesome to see the demonstration.
That was me that asked. I appreciate the thorough answer. Your CMO playlist is the only reason I’m able to use this haha.
We have had many issues in Finland with our border comrades jamming GPS leading to planes being diverted since the VORs have been decomissioned by our government leaving only the DME component on. Fortunately the VOR infrastructure is only disabled so they can bring it back on soon and ILS has been working all the time. I still wonder why they cannot do DME arc RNAV approach to such airports as EFJO with ATR 72 they are using.
Have you pirouetted along the taxiway?
In my Diamond DA-62 I often bounce for half the length of the runways, at short airstrips. I do a lot of night flying (trying to master the G-1000) and often fly to nondescript airfields, so I get a fair bit of variety to land on. I've done plenty of good landings, but the bouncing has to go. I just landed at a small place in Kent and hit the deck so hard I could actually feel MSFS deciding whether to let me off, or black screen me. It was shockingly close and after 40 minutes in the air I would not have been happy. You've rescued me so many times, I think you should rename your channel AA Gatcomb. I suspect on fellow Brits will get that. Thanks again my friend.
Can someone tell me how to use pushback on xbox. The only answers i can find anywhere are "get a keyboard" or to use slew mode. How do you use the pushback mechanic on xbox normally? Can anyone answer this at all?
Thank you. That was most helpful and at the risk of repeating myself, I appreciate your help. Mind you, when someone is as much help as you've been, multiple praise comments are justified.
dude you talk so fast on x1 speed, =(
My wing runner has disappeared, do you know how to get him back
Let me tell you, I have been looking for a solution to fix this broken route for several weeks. And I haven't seen it with anyone, but you showed it very well and helped me. Thank you and best regards!
For autoland you need to use baro altitude set rather than radio altitude because it's more precise.the radio altitude it's a non precise approche and used only for verification.
Slow things down man!
This aircraft does not have heated pitot tubes. I know its probably not rated for icing conditions, but pitot-icing really becomes an issue if i try to fly this plane in sweden, even in quite normal summer weather.
What is this operation allied force? I can't seem to find anything on it.
Gatcomb" "...And here's our standard 'Beethoven's 5th', and I'm just going to add a little bit of a mix of the 'William Tell Overture', just to have a little fun. Pretty basic stuff. Yeah, That's looks nice. Now, Let's let it rip." Me: *chopsticks*
That was an incredibly impressive approach. No GPS and didn’t look out of the window once, you’ve inspired me to try some of these older planes out and step away from my beloved TBM 930 for a bit.
Hi my name is Bret Lee how do you play the Busy Barstow on run 8 train simulator V3
Would this thing fly in real life?
This is great stuff, Thanks. FSExpo for you? If so hope to see you.
Really enjoy these series, so many thanks. One thing that confuses me is the 'toward' and 'away' terminology when the arrow seems to more accurately represent whether you are in the northern or southern half of the VOR's hemisphere, and is nothing to do with whether you are approaching it or not. Am I missing something here?
Your video is a great help. I'm currently trying to get an aircraft that's capable of flying for 2 hours at full power and reaches 30,000ft while doing 400mph with only 1000 hp. I'm currently meeting all specs but speed and hp 😅 I'm doing 1400hp at 360 mph but my props are not getting my there
God damn do you talk fast or am I just slow 😆 I moved from Chicago to the country side of Kentucky and now I feel like everyone talks super fast 😆
On Cruise you forgot to move fuel mixture down to auto lean.... :)
really useful video :) and super entertaining!
"When this thing hits 12.2 KM, your going to see some serious s*&%"
Hi, did you make it with network flights? I use Tacview in MSFS and it only records your flight, but you can't see your friends if you fly in multiplayer. I'm in contact with the developer, but it seems it's an issue on MSFS side.
Hello there I would love for you to actually recreate the UDF unducted fan designs from the 70s and 80s! I would be very grateful and would love to see that
Here is a video explaining the use of kns-81 in a more understandable way. ua-cam.com/video/xQaZNNGFINE/v-deo.html
My favourite YT channel - a new upload is always an insta-click. VORs are fun, back to the basics!
You've confused me, you're telling VOR (hfd), but you're setting it up for KNS-81 VOR (mad). And it looks very confusing. Since VOR (mad) is located well below KMMK airport.
"It's so old fashioned"? Dude, it's LITERALLY the first powered plane.
